This vessel was fired in a Noborigama wood fired kiln. This glossy exterior appears textured in the layered movement of the glaze. The hand built nature of the piece lends to the organic elemental feel.

Each piece is sturdy but should be treated with care. This vessel is glazed on the interior and can hold water safely, due to the semi porous nature of the stone wear some sweating or condensation can sometimes occur at the bottom of the vessel.
