This small hand-painted plate has a raw jagged edge and is painted in blue and black. The image is of a diner coffee cup. This dish measures 4.5 inches wide.  I grew up with this cup and recently rediscovered while helping family sort through things. My work is a way of memorializing little moments or objects that have meaning to me or someone close.  Painting these is a way to share these moments. 

Ceramic pieces are all food safe, l recommend hand washing to preserve the integrity of the piece. Please hand wash to protect these unique pieces and reframe from exposing to extreme heat to extreme cold to help preserve the glaze.
