This unique piece was made during a special workshop while in Japan.  We had the opportunity to learn how to make traditional washi paper using bamboo paper screens and natural bark fiber for paper making. I used color dye paper to create the Imagery. It was really inspiring experience. I created this piece similar to a  hand paint work but in a much looser organic method. This piece measures just under 16 inches long and 14 inches wide.
