This is one of my favorite vessels. It’s a series of layered clays starting with a deep red clay body, which then has a grey clay body, and then a porcelain clay body layered on top. These layers, give it a heavy weight and a lot of texture yet from far away, it still has a simple elegant form and plays with the Idea of being firm and heavy, yet elegant and delicate.
