It’s a series of layered clays starting with a deep red clay body, which then has a grey clay body, and then a porcelain clay body layered on top. These layers, give it a heavy weight and a lot of texture yet from far away, it still has a simple elegant form and plays with the Idea of being firm and heavy, yet elegant and delicate. This special measures just over 12 inches wide and is 6 1/2 inches tall

Rim has cosmetic, cracking in the clay that adds the organic natural feel of the piece. Please see photos.
